Student Employment Essentials (SEE) Training Scholarship

Regretfully, the 2020 NSEA|NEASEA Conference has been cancelled due to the continued issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and as such, we will not be able move forward with scholarships for this year. For more information on the conference cancellation and the upcoming free webinars, please visit the conference website

NSEA encourages the professional development of its members by offering Student Employment Essentials (SEE) training. These sessions are designed to teach the skills necessary to run a successful student employment office and provide a framework to sharpen existing skills and acquire new ones. NSEA is pleased to offer financial assistance to members wishing to participate in SEE training but who lack the necessary funding to do so.

The SEE Training Scholarship will cover the registration fees for four (4) recipients to participate in this year’s pre-conference Student Employment Essentials training sessions being held October 12-13, 2020 in Baltimore, MD.  Each scholarship will cover the registration fees for Track A and/or Track B. Expenses related to any travel, hotel, meal, conference fee, or personal expenses are excluded.

Recipients of this scholarship will be notified. The recipients must complete their NSEA Conference and SEE Training Registration Form by the early bird deadline. Recipients are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements. Refer to the NSEA website for additional conference, hotel and descriptions of the various professional development sessions.

In these ever changing days we find ourselves in, if the 2020 Annual Conference does not occur as planned in October, recipients of the 2020 Campillo, Diversity, and SEE Training Scholarships will need to reapply for scholarships for the 2021 Conference and SEE Training. 2020 Scholarships will not transfer to the 2021 Conference and SEE Training.
