What is SEE Training?

Two one-day, professional seminars that will teach you the skills critical to the success of every student employment professional as well as to your university's student employment program. These "hands-on" workshops immerse participants in all aspects of running a successful student employment office and provide a framework for you to sharpen existing skills and acquire new ones.

Expert trainers will provide you with well-researched, practical information you can apply immediately. Attendees will receive a broad range of important student employment information, access to experts in the field, the opportunity to share information with colleagues, a training manual, and a certificate of completion.

Training sessions are offered in each of NSEA's four regional organizations- WASEA, MASEA, NEASEA, and SASEA - throughout the year.

NSEA Membership is not required.

Please be advised of Student Employment Essentials 2020 prices:
Track A:  $195
Track B:  $195
Both Track A and Track B: $375
Lunch is included in the registration price.

SEE Training Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refund eligibility for SEE Training cancellations or non-attendance is as follows:

  • 30+ days = Full refund
  • 12 - 29 days = 50% Refund
  • 0 - 12 days = Ineligible for Refund
In the event NSEA must cancel a training due to unforeseen circumstances, NSEA will refund the cost of registration. However NSEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

 

Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

"Unforeseen Circumstances" is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents NSEA from continuing with a conference or training. Examples of such circumstances can include but are not limited to inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
